Dr. Robert Heck graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN and received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He served his orthopaedic residency at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN and a fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at the University of Chicago. Dr. Heck joined the staff of Campbell Clinic in 2001 as a specialist in orthopaedic oncology and is also a clinician-scientist with the InMotion Orthopaedic Research Center.

Dr. Heck is an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. As a member of the Board of Trustees for The Campbell Foundation, Dr. Heck serves on the Education Committee and the Research Committee. Dr. Heck is active in numerous professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, and the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association.
