The Willis C. Campbell Society

As the founder of Campbell Clinic (1909) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (1933), Willis C. Campbell, M.D., was one of the great pioneers in the advancement of orthopaedic surgery. He set standards of excellence in teaching, research and patient care.

The Willis C. Campbell Society was established to perpetuate Dr. Campbell's commitment to exceptional physician education and continuous medical advancement. The Society recognizes the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations who provide annual leadership support for musculoskeletal research, education, and healthcare. Your generous gift of $5,000 or more will:

• Provide critical seed funds for our surgeons and scientists to launch promising research in areas such as joint replacement, cartilage regeneration, osteoarthritis, trauma care, and children's bone and joint diseases;
• Educate the world's finest orthopaedic surgeons dedicated to unsurpassed patient care through our distinguished residency and fellowship program; and
• Help insure that the children and adults in Mid-South receive the best orthopaedic care, regardless of their financial circumstances

The Campbell Foundation's endeavors are respected worldwide in large part because of the generosity of members of The Willis C. Campbell Society. Members are recognized in Foundation publications, invited to the annual Campbell Foundation Gala and other special events and receive updates on the latest advances in musculoskeletal health care. Members are also listed on the beautiful Campbell Society donor wall displayed in the lobby of Campbell Clinic headquarters in Germantown, Tennessee.
