The goal of The Campbell Foundation is to educate the orthopaedic profession on the current techniques and thinking as the leading provider of scholarly publications, which includes the textbook known to orthopaedic surgeons throughout the world, Campbell's Operative Orthopaedics. Campbell Clinic surgeons, with research, editorial and clerical support from The Campbell Foundation, contribute to many other medical journals and textbooks, such as:

  • Current Orthopaedic Practice (Editor-in-Chief, Andrew H. Crenshaw, M.D.)
  • Foot & Ankle International (Editor-in-Chief, E. Greer Richardson, M.D.)
  • AAOS Now (Editor-in-Chief, S. Terry Canale, M.D.)
  • Fractures in Children, 5th, 6th, 7th editions (Co-Editor James H. Beaty, M.D.)
  • Numerous articles by staff, fellows and residents in national orthopaedic journals, including Clinical Orthopaedic & Related Research, Journal of Knee Surgery, Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics, and American Journal of Sports Medicine.

Campbell's Operative Orthopaedics

Campbell's Operative Orthopaedics is a four-volume textbook that has been translated into seven languages and contains over 4,000 pages, with 1,800 descriptions of operative and minimally invasive procedures and over 9,000 illustrations. The book has been called “the definitive orthopaedic surgery reference” and “the bible of orthopaedic surgery” for surgeons all over the world. More»

Momentum

The Campbell Foundation newsletter, Momentum, gives friends and supporters insight into The Campbell Foundation's work to advance musculoskeletal education and research. Published three times per year, Momentum features stories which capture the importance of what our clinician-scientists and young physicians in training do everyday to improve the lives of patients we serve.
